…..and with a $40,000/year scholarship to boot. I’m ecstatic as this means I will most definitely be attending business school next year. I was not expecting such a great scholarship, and being selected for the Tepper School MBA Forte Fellowship is an absolute honour!
Will write a more detailed blog on this later! 🙂 But this admit makes the wait for other school’s decisions a little easier. This also gives me a chance to tweak my R2 application strategy a bit.

It definitely does! And a scholarship (such a good one at that!) was completely unexpected. 🙂
I’m now less stressed about decisions from other schools and can enjoy my upcoming trip/vacation while also working on R2 apps. Good luck for your Wharton and Sloan decisions. I’m sure there’s good news on the way! 🙂

That is wonderful news! Congratulations! I too am applying to Tepper – just putting my application together for R2. Do you have any advice regarding Tepper?
Also, how does one qualify for a Forte Fellowship? Do you have to be a paid Forte member?

I would say the biggest advice I have is to really dig deep and find out what the school is most proud about – the Accelerate Leadership program, their unique approach to management education (analytical frameworks in decision making), the Carnegie Mellon brand and the opportunity to collaborate with CMU grads and take classes at CMU – and tie in how these Tepper offerings are something you appreciate and value.
It’d also be great if you demonstrate your fit with the Tepper community.
It is free to join Forte Foundation and I didn’t specifically apply for a fellowship at Tepper.
